Laura Esquivel y Gastón Soffritti, que fueron pareja en Patito Feo, fueron convocados para protagonizar la película Un paraíso para dos, en Italia.
Después de su paso por la tira juvenil producida por Ideas del Sur, los chicos se dedicaron de lleno al colegio.Sin embargo, continuaron con las giras de Patito Feo por América y algunos países de Europa.
Los personajes de Laura Esquivel y Gastón Soffritti hacían de pareja, y tanto gustó sus interpretaciones que fueorn convocados para trabajar juntos en una película en Italia.
