Los TeenAngels revolucionan Israel. El grupo juvenil se presenta ante 6.000 fans en cada una de las tres funciones diarias. Entretelones de un fenómeno y la palabra de Cris Morena sobre el mensaje de la tira.
Las luces se apagaron el domingo en el Palacio Nokia de Tel Aviv, los miles de fans (6.000, con el estadio a pleno) gritaron enloquecidamente, y en ascensores instalados dentro del escenario fueron surgiendo Thiago, Mar, Tacho, Rama y Jazmín, los TeenAngels, que con Voy por más iniciaron sus presentaciones en Israel.
El elenco que llegó aquí comprende a otros siete actores de Casi ángeles, incluyendo a Emilia Attias (el personaje de Paz) que cantó dos temas y fue presentada como “nuestro ángel, invitada especial”.Con 13 shows previstos (las entradas cuestan entre 40 y 100 dólares), la tremenda repercusión obligaría a agregar otras dos funciones. El ritmo es incansable. Hacia el fin de semana los chicos volverán a la Argentina para grabar capítulos de la tira que emite Telefé, y el 10 de noviembre partirán a México, Panamá, Perú y Chile.
Aquí, todo es delirio. Con una puesta en escena especialmente pensada para Israel, el escenario incluye tres pasarelas que se introducen como lenguas entre el público. Hay fuegos artificiales, papelitos brillantes, plataformas ascendentes, y paneles luminosos giratorios que van cambiando el fondo del escenario. Además, los chicos aprendieron y pronunciaron con ganas una cantidad sin precedentes de palabras y frases en hebreo, no sólo los consabidos “Gracias” y “Los amo”, sino también conceptos muy frecuentes en los diálogos de Casi ángeles: “Por un mundo mejor”, decía Mariana Lali Espósito (Mar, en la ficción) y se traducía a sí misma en buen hebreo: “Leolám tov iotér”. “Por la paz; Lemáan HaShalom”, decía Gastón Dalmau (o sea, Rama).
La emoción corría de ida y de vuelta. Dos días antes, gran parte de la comitiva –60 personas en total– habían hablado, en la rueda de prensa, sobre el sentimiento especial por estar en Israel, un país donde los productos de Cris Morena vienen haciendo furor desde sus comienzos. Baste recordar el fenómeno provocado, seis años atrás, por la llegada de los Erreway, el grupo de la telenovela juvenil Rebelde Way.
En este caso, el socio local de Cris Morena Group y RGB Entertainment es Galim Producciones, y a los cinco TeenAngels se suma su grupo musical rival, los Man (con Candela Vetrano, María del Cerro, Agustín Sierra, Pablo Martínez, Rocío Igarzábal y Vittorio D´Alessandro). Unos y otros, pese al vértigo de la gira– hicieron y harán los paseos de rigor que incluyen el Mar Muerto y Jerusalén, además de una visita al hospital infantil Schneider de la ciudad de Petaj Tikva, y una fiesta privada en una mansión.
“Es mi tercera visita a Israel, me encantó el mar, la ciudad de Yaffo y Jerusalén… no me quería ir”, contó María Eugenia Suárez (Jazmín) durante la conferencia de prensa, un día después de su llegada, mientras Nicolás Riera (Tacho) sugería que “no por nada empezamos la gira aquí”. El universo Casi ángeles pareció no guardar secretos para muchos periodistas locales, que preguntaron por el inminente casamiento de Emilia Attias, por los regalos de los fans, cómo van a hacer para aguantar tres shows diarios.
Y también, qué va a pasar cuando la estrella de la tira caiga y ellos pasen de moda? La propia Cris Morena se ocupó de responder al asunto: “Pasa así con todo. Miren el ejemplo de Maradona”. Mientras tanto, anunció la cuarta temporada de la tira. “Más que un programa de televisión, Casi ángeles es un concepto –precisó la productora–. Es el mensaje de que la gente joven puede encontrar en estos valores la vía para luchar contra un sistema viciado. Este mensaje da para todos los años que la gente quiera y tiene historia para rato”.
Otro tema recurrente es el de su fama internacional siendo tan jóvenes. Todos hablaban de “el flash que significa que estás lejos de casa y que haya tanta gente que nos quiera tanto”, de los regalos que les hacen y de las “guardias” de 24 horas en la puerta del hotel por hordas de adolescentes israelíes que “nos gritan cosas tan lindas apenas nos asomamos al balcón”.
El mismo fervor los asombró antes en Madrid, donde Casi ángeles comienza su segunda temporada en televisión. Allí, en formación reducida (sólo TeenAngels) se presentaron ante 600 fans en la Gran Vía. España se ha convertido este año en otra conquista europea del imparable imperio juvenil de Cris Morena. Cuenta Carolina Ibarra, conductora desde esta temporada de Team Angels, el micro de backstage que completa la tira: “Cuando llegamos a Barajas los chicos me dijeron Dale, Caro, salí vos primera, total no pasa nada. ¡Y de repente era Madonna! Resulta que los españoles ya nos seguían –a mí incluida– por Internet”.
Las luces se apagaron, se prendieron para los bis, se volvieron a apagar. Los TeenAngels, los Man y Paz dejaron otra vez todo sobre el escenario. Afuera del estadio, no se acabaron los CD, las remeras, y las postales, que tienen que durar toda la semana, y después también. Porque ellos, hasta que los dejen, vienen por más.

But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
